Environmental monitoring and transparency
We believe that transparency is demonstrated through actions. That's why we make our [information/data] publicly available. Online Environmental Monitoring System, a platform that provides up-to-date information about the Atacama Salt Flat and its surroundings.

Monitoring of flora and fauna
Caring for the salt flats also means understanding how their life cycle evolves. That's why, We monitor your ecosystem constantly.
Through our Biotic Environmental Monitoring Plan (PSAB), we have a network that includes 99 points of vegetation, 75 Plots of flora, 18 stations of terrestrial fauna, 25 of aquatic fauna and bird censuses such as Andean and Chilean flamingos.
In recent years, we have incorporated specific rescue and surveillance actions for these species, strengthening their protection within ecological corridors of the PSAB system.
This work combines on-site monitoring y satellite analysisallowing us to transform data into decisions that safeguard the balance of the Salar.
Responsible mining audits
We evaluate our performance against international standards to ensure a responsible operation in the Atacama Salt Flat.
We achieved certification IRMA 75, an international standard that evaluates our environmental, social and operational performance, placing special emphasis on the water use, the protection of the biodiversity and the relationship with the artists.
This process requires us to measure, make transparent, and continuously improve our practices, incorporating concrete actions to address the identified challenges. This way, we ensure a constant improvement in the way we operate.
