Novandino Litio “Lulantur Tatai 2026” contest opens

The initiative seeks to rescue stories, perspectives and narratives inspired by the territory, its culture and life in the oasis, bringing together girls, boys, young people and adults from the Province of El Loa.

The Lulantur Tatai competition opens its applications

With the aim of strengthening the cultural identity of the territory and promoting literary creation from a local perspective, the fourth edition of the Short Story Contest “Lulantur Tatai: Tales of the Desert 2026” was launched, an initiative that began as a project of SQM Lithium and that today continues its path under the auspices of Novandino Litio, in conjunction with the PROLOA Corporationinviting the community to share their stories inspired by the life, culture and memory of the territory.

This contest, which has already established itself as a space for expression for the communities of the El Loa Province, is aimed at children (8 to 13 years old), young people (14 to 17 years old) and adults (18 years and older), who can participate by presenting original and unpublished stories that reflect their connection with the environment, traditions and experiences of the territory.

The call for applications will be open from April 8rd to April 30thThe selection of winners will take place on May 14, culminating in an awards ceremony on May 19.

The awards include:

  • 1st place: Tablet + accessories
  • 2st place: E-reader
  • 3st place: Smart watch
  • Honorable mentions: Diploma of participation

The organization emphasized that this initiative seeks to highlight the voices of the territory, promoting creativity and the preservation of cultural heritage from a community perspective.
