The Mining Council, a business association that brings together large mining companies in Chile, reported that during its last Board meeting, the official incorporation of SQM as a new member of the association was approved.
SQM is a global mining company present in the north of Chile, with five business lines: Specialty Plant Nutrition, Iodine and derivatives, Lithium and derivatives, Potassium and Solar Salts, which allows it to participate in strategic industries for sustainable development, such as health, food, technology and clean energy.
