More opportunities for Atacama agriculture
The Atacama Fertile Land Program was launched in 2008, through which we have promoted agricultural production initiatives in the driest desert in the world. This program is present in towns such as San Pedro de Atacama, Toconao, Talabre, Río Grande, Hierbas Buenas, Soncor, and Socaire.
Through this program, we aim to provide farmers with technical advice and support to develop their crops and production, using our own multidisciplinary team of professionals. It also offers innovative tools to improve crops and the marketing of high-quality or value-added products. One of its defining characteristics is its respect for the cultural aspects and ancestral agricultural practices of the Atacameño people.
