ISO 14001: 2015

Environmental Management Systems Standard

Environmental Management System (EMS) standard that allows companies to demonstrate that they are responsible and committed to protecting the environment by managing the environmental risks arising from their activities.

See our commitment

Through this standard we seek to manage and identify the environmental risks of our industry, promoting prevention and environmental protection, complying with legal regulations and associated socio-economic needs.

The international standard ISO 14001 arose in response to global environmental concerns and the proliferation of regional environmental regulations. In this context, the need emerged for a universal indicator to evaluate organizations' efforts to achieve reliable and adequate environmental protection.

Commitments

Implement this standard in the Tocopilla, Salar del Carmen, Salar de Atacama and Coya Sur mining operations.

Progress report

We are working on migrating our Environmental Management System to the ISO 14001 standard during 2021.
